Block VPN Users

Overview

Use Fingerprint's VPN detection signal to block visitors connecting through a VPN. This template triggers only on high-confidence detections, reducing false positives while keeping anonymized or potentially fraudulent traffic off your platform.

How to use this template

Step 1

Go to the Rules Engine page in the Fingerprint dashboard and click New ruleset, then select Use a template.

Step 2

Browse or search the template library, select the one that fits your use case, and make any necessary adjustments.

Step 3

Hit Save, then deploy by connecting Cloudflare in the Settings panel for automatic rule enforcement, or copy the ruleset API endpoint to evaluate events via the Server API.
